Charley Brother, LLC was established by Christine Friesel, who now writes short Catholic fiction.

FICTION

In 2022, Friesel published her first novel The Orphan Girls of Bath, inspired by fragments known about her ancestors.

NONFICTION

In 2021, Friesel published her first book, The Boys of Bath a factual account of Civil War Marine and railroad postal clerk Charles Brother, based on his diary.

The same year she edited Moving Back, the writings of her great grandmother Frances Toyne, who, late in life, converted to Catholicism.
